ANNOUNCEMENT / INVITATION

Distinguished colleagues,

 

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the proceedings of the of the scientific conference with international participation, titled „THE SURVIVAL OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL TRADITION IN THE PATTERNS OF EUROPEAN CONSTITUTIONALISM”, organized by the Department of Public Law, the Scientific Research Laboratory `Comparative Public Law and E-Governance` and the Institute of Legislative Creation and Comparative Law.

The event aims to bring to the forefront a timely debate on the persistence of constitutional tradition and its capacity to adapt to the requirements of contemporary European constitutionalism. At the same time, it will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, the examination of current challenges and opportunities, and will contribute to strengthening cooperation among scholars in the field of constitutional law and related disciplines.

 You may register for one of the following discussion panels:

  1. The Constitution – a pillar of safeguarding the common good and fundamental human rights in the context of current challenges;
  2. Civil society – a driving force in the reform of constitutionalism;
  3. Elections and democratic values;
  4. Justice in the context of twenty-first-century constitutionalism.

 The scientific conference targets the academic community, state authorities, members of legal professions, and all those interested in the topics discussed.

 The event will take place on March 27, 2026, at the Faculty of Law, Moldova State University, in a hybrid format.

 Deadlines:

  • March 1, 2026– Registration for the conference program [Registration form HERE].
  • May 15, 2026 – Submission of articles for publication, adhering to the provided guidelines.
