• On April 24, 2024, MSU students had a unique lesson, with a special guest, who explained to them in an absolutely special way general aspects on the place and role of enforcement officers in the system of national legal institutions.
  • The purpose of the thematic activity was to provide students with a comprehensive picture on the role of the enforcement officers in the context of the protection of human rights and their contribution to the effective exercise of the act of justice, through interpretations of the law and relevant practical examples.
  • Olga BACIU, lawyer at the National Union of Enforcement Officers, with extensive experience in the field, recognized at national and international level, participated as a special guest.
  • The topics that showed increased interest for students concerned: the manner of communication between the enforcement officers and the participants in the enforcement procedure; the specifics of voluntary execution; ascertainment acts drawn up by enforcement officers; payment of alimony; service charges; practical difficulties in the forced eviction procedure, etc.
  • Olga BACIU explained the seriousness of the risks faced by enforcement officers in their daily work, developed important aspects on the status of the creditor and the debtor in an enforcement procedure and came up with a general recommendation, for the benefit of litigants in good faith: ‘Pay the debts; if we want equity, security and justice, pecuniary debts must be extinguished’.
  • The invitation was launched in the context of teaching the course ‘Legal-State Institutions in the Republic of Moldova’ at the Moldova State University and was organized within the sub-programme ‘Strengthening socio-economic and legal mechanisms to ensure the well-being and security of the citizens” (code 01.05.02), being facilitated by Dr. Natalia Creciun, university lecturer, Law Faculty of the MSU, Public Law Department.
