IMPORTANT RESULTS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE CONSEJ 01.05.02 PROJECT DISSEMINATED IN THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY
On June 22, 2026, the team members of the research project ‘Strengthening socio-economic and legal mechanisms for ensuring the well-being and security of citizens’ (CONSEJ 01.05.02) presented, at the seminar ‘Identifying ways to strengthen the effectiveness of integrated methodologies in the context of analysing citizens’ security and well-being’, relevant research obtained during the current January-June period. The general objective of the scientific seminar was to determine the mechanisms for deepening the integrated research in the context of the current social, economic and legal transformations in the Republic of Moldova.
The presented research and the related activities have been carried out from the perspective of various thematic orientations, with interdisciplinary approaches, aiming at the overall legal and economic dimensions, which have a direct impact on the level of well-being and security of citizens. The interventions focused on topics regarding:
• Identification and evaluation, from a legal, economic and philosophical perspective, of the main trends and challenges generated by recent societal transformations in the Republic of Moldova;
• Development and validation of common research tools and methods, which allow a synergistic legal-economic-philosophical approach to societal problems in the Republic of Moldova;
• Defining clear strategies for the support and practical valorization of integrated research and ensuring the quality of research decision-making support for the Republic of Moldova.
The results obtained by the members of the project team have been disseminated at scientific events in the country and abroad, developed in specialized scientific publications, and also presented at other public events to popularize the strategic directions assumed institutionally on the science, education and research dimensions.
The contributions developed within the project strengthen the doctrinal and normative foundation necessary for formulating a coherent understanding of the factors that shape the legal order in the context of European standards related to the rule of law and social cohesion.
The project team continues the research and dissemination activities, with a view to strengthening the analysis tools and expanding the lines of investigation in related fields.
Through involvement, activism, collaborations with authorities and civil society in the country and in the region, Moldova State University, through the Law Faculty and the Faculty of Economic Sciences, the Institute of Legal, Political and Sociological Research and the ‘Comparative Public Law and E-governance’ Laboratory contributes to the development of the research infrastructure at the national and international level, in accordance with the trends of integration into the global value context on the dimension of improving and streamlining the legal and economic mechanisms to ensure the security and well-being of citizens.
