The representatives of the Scientific Research Laboratory ‘Comparative Public Law and E-Government’ and the teaching staff of the Public Law Department of the Faculty of Law of the Moldova State University, interested students participated in the proceedings of the National Scientific Conference with international participation ‘Integration through research and innovation’, dedicated to the International Day of Science for Peace and Development, held on November 7-8, 2024, by the State University of Moldova.
During the ‘Public Law’ session, 18 speakers have presented reports dedicated to the most pressing topics within public law, with both theoretical and practical aspects, among them being: The legal enunciation of the precept of social solidarity as a principle of constitutionalism, Legal security – now and here; Legal guarantees for the protection of children subjected to violence in sports; Reflections on justice and equity; The right to work of people with disabilities between legal regulations and reality; The object of public trust in courts; Conceptual delimitation, global legal competences as the universal language of lawyers, and others.
The discussions on the topics presented had a constructive character, being determined the impact of the recommendations and proposals submitted by the researchers to develop the analyzed topics and to continue the studies in order to deepen the research carried out.
Finally, the importance of holding such events was reconfirmed, both for the academic community and for the state authorities, in order to take over the submitted proposals and organize such events dedicated to public law in the future.
