JOINT WORKING MEETING ROMANIA – REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA, DEDICATED TO BILATERAL SCIENTIFIC COLLABORATION PROJECTS
📅 On June 6-7, 2025, in Chisinau, discussions took place on Collaboration Projects with the Republic of Moldova, organized by the Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI) and the National Agency for Research and Development of the Republic of Moldova (ANCD).
🤝 During the event have been presented ongoing joint projects, implemented in partnership by higher education institutions and research institutes from the Republic of Moldova and Romania.
📚 Objectives, preliminary results recorded in distinct research directions and challenges have been highlighted. The speakers emphasized the cognitive, social and economic impact of research. The discussions at the event have highlighted the advantages of bilateral collaborations, the importance of creating international and interdisciplinary teams in identifying scientific solutions to current problems and challenges, but also for creating collaborative platforms capable of ensuring the continuity and deepening of research in the future.
🧭 The Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law of the Moldova State University is engaged in an important academic collaboration in terms of exchanges of good practices and research experiences with the Faculty of Law, University of Craiova. Thus, the event was also attended by Prof. Rodica CIOBANU, Head of the Department of Public Law (Faculty of Law, MSU) who presented the efficient collaboration with the team coordinated by Prof. Dan-Claudiu DĂNIȘOR. In the context of the presentation, the public was informed about the purpose, objectives and activities carried out within the Project: ‘Challenges and avenues for improving the mechanisms of the rule of law in the context of current crises, adapted to the situation in Romania and the Republic of Moldova”, implemented in partnership by the University of Craiova – Faculty of Law and the Moldova State University – Faculty of Law, under the leadership of Prof. Dan-Claudiu DĂNIȘOR (project director).
🌐 The event marks a significant stage in the consolidation of bilateral academic cooperation and supports the development of a common scientific framework, adapted to contemporary challenges.
